About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager plays a key role in supporting LDK's financial performance and strategic decision-making. Working closely with the Group Treasury and Planning Manager and Chief Financial Officer, this position is responsible for delivering high-quality financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial modelling across the business. The role provides valuable commercial insights by analysing key business drivers, monitoring financial performance, supporting long-term planning and funding decisions, and driving continuous improvements to reporting processes, systems, and data quality. This position partners with senior stakeholders to provide clear, actionable financial information that helps guide business growth and operational success.

Role responsibilities

  • Coordination of annual budgeting process, including budget consolidation, forecasting and reforecasting activities across the business.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance financial models to support business performance, funding requirements and strategic decision-making. 
  • Deliver accurate management reporting, financial analysis and commercial insights to senior leaders, including the CFO and executive stakeholders. 
  • Analyse key business drivers and financial performance trends to support informed decision-making and business growth.
  • Support long-term planning, cash flow forecasting, scenario analysis and strategic funding initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting systems, processes and data quality.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide clear, actionable financial information and advice.
  • Support treasury and finance activities, including financier reporting, compliance requirements, funding reporting and presentations.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills 

  • Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related discipline, with CPA, CA or CIMA qualifications preferred. 
  • 5+ years' experience in a senior finance, commercial or business partnering role.
  • Proven expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and performance analysis. 
  • Advanced Excel, financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to transform complex data into meaningful commercial insights.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, governance, risk management, corporate finance and business performance drivers.
  • Experience providing commercial advice and decision support to senior leaders and key stakeholders. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, analytical and solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement, innovation and process optimisation. 
  • Highly organised, adaptable and self-motivated, with strong problem-solving abilities and the resilience to thrive in a dynamic environment.
