About Amberfield

LDK Seniors' Living’s newest premium village, Amberfield, is located on Cotter Road in Weston, in Canberra’s inner south. About the Role

We're seeking individuals who create a sense of warmth and familiarity to all residents and staff, whether it be during a morning coffee order to a private dining experience with their family and friends. Our Food and Beverage Attendants are enthusiastic and friendly individuals who will meet a high standard of exceptional service across numerous Café and Restaurant facilities. Multiple vacancies available with the requirement for Monday to Friday, morning (7am - 3pm) and/or evening (3pm - 9pm) availability.

  • Provide quality service to all residents and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Assist with food preparation and service, including taking orders, processing payments, crafting coffee orders.
  • Keen attention to detail, with the ability to familiarise yourself with the food and beverage offerings and develop the confidence to answer resident and guest queries.
  • Understand procedures in accordance with opening and closing standards.
  • Ensure all end-of-day sales and till procedures are carried out.
  • Ensure all hospitality focused areas, back of house and dining spaces, are clean and well presented.

About You

  • Experience and the willingness to excel in the hospitality industry. 
  • Ability to provide exceptional food and beverage service.  
  • Excellent customer service skills and proficiency to work as part of a high performing team.
  • Courteous and pleasant attitude towards residents, guests and colleagues.
  • Confidence to work proactively and autonomously.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (or the willingness to obtain one).
  • (Desirable) Food Safety Certificate
  • (Desirable) Completion of accredited Barista Course
