About Greenway Views
LDK Seniors’ Living’s flagship village, Greenway Views, is in Greenway, Tuggeranong in Canberra, opposite the South Point shopping centre and walking distance to the Tuggeranong town centre. The village consists of 327 apartments, spread over five buildings that is about half a kilometre long from end-to-end. Greenway Views is home to nearly 400 residents over the age of 65. The village has over 6,000 square metres of communal space facilitating social connectedness and a vibrant village community. LDK delivers lifestyle-for-life through a variety of age-friendly facilities, amenities and activities for both independent and non-independent residents. On-site facilities include a gym, art centre, chapel, dance room, theatre, library, several hospitality outlets, village shed, barber shop, hairdresser, medical consultation room, grocer, purpose designed meeting spaces and a dog park.
About the Role
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Assistant Facilities Manager supports the efficient operation of all property, buildings, grounds, housekeeping, and assets across Greenway Views. The Assistant Facilities Manager will also oversee and assist with the presentation, safety, and smooth running of the village by coordinating housekeeping, gardening, and maintenance teams, supporting reinstatement of homes for resale, and liaising with contractors and business partners as required.
The successful candidate for this role will be working Monday to Friday 0830am - 1700pm.
Role Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Oversee cleaning of domestic and public areas to maintain high presentation standards.
- Manage rosters, schedules, and utilisation targets for housekeeping staff.
- Assist with monitoring budgets and identifying efficiencies.
- Support minor works, refurbishments, and capital projects.
- Provide admin support for meetings, inductions, and communications.
- Act as a point of contact for facilities and housekeeping queries.
- Assist with reports, compliance records, and contractor documentation
- Monitor infection control, conduct audits, and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications/Certificates/Professional Experience
- Experience in facilities, property, maintenance coordination, and housekeeping operations.
- Strong leadership skills with ability to guide multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven rostering, scheduling, and organisational capability.
- Administrative skills with adaptability to systems and reporting.
- Knowledge of WHS, risk management, compliance, and building systems.
- Strong communication, customer service, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in work order, compliance, and asset management systems.
- Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Building Services, or Property (desirable).
